Feasibility PracticeFull-time or Engagement-basedRemote (US)
Senior Feasibility Study Consultant
MMCG Invest, LLC is hiring a Senior Feasibility Study Consultant to lead third-party feasibility engagements end to end for institutional, SBA, and USDA lenders, sponsors, and developers. The role combines market analysis, financial modeling, and senior client interface, with full ownership of the deliverable from kickoff through credit committee defense.
The Role
The successful candidate will operate as a senior author on the firm’s institutional deliverables and a primary client-facing voice across the engagement lifecycle. The position carries direct exposure to lender credit teams, CDC committees, USDA loan officers, sponsor principals, and transaction counsel.
The Mandate
- Author the market, demand, and competitive sections of feasibility studies across hospitality, RV and boat storage, self-storage, multifamily, fuel and convenience retail, healthcare, retail, and industrial mandates.
- Build and review discounted cash flow and operating models, including stabilized pro formas, debt service coverage analysis, sensitivity scenarios, and waterfall structures.
- Conduct primary research, including operator interviews, site inspections, capture rate analysis, and competitive supply benchmarking.
- Interface directly with lenders, CDCs, USDA loan officers, sponsors, and counsel through the credit decision cycle, including credit committee defense where required.
- Mentor analysts and contribute to the firm’s methodology library and proprietary database.
What You Bring
- Five or more years in commercial real estate valuation, appraisal, feasibility, banking, or institutional CRE advisory.
- MAI designation, MAI candidacy, or active Appraisal Institute affiliation viewed favorably. Direct appraisal practice experience is a meaningful differentiator and shapes how the firm evaluates senior candidates.
- Demonstrated fluency in Excel financial modeling, including DCF, sensitivity, and waterfall structures.
- Working knowledge of SBA 7(a), SBA 504, or USDA B&I / REAP / Community Facilities programs preferred.
- MBA or MSRE viewed favorably.
- Excellent written communication. The deliverable is a document, and the document carries the firm.
The Bar
The feasibility report is the firm’s institutional product. It must withstand credit committee scrutiny, lender due diligence, and, where relevant, post-closing performance review.
Candidates should be comfortable owning a deliverable that institutional capital allocators rely on for credit decisions.
Engagement
The firm offers two pathways, selected based on candidate preference and capacity.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation
Competitive base with an engagement-based performance component for full-time candidates. Per-engagement fee structure for project-based candidates, sized to scope and seniority.
Platform EngineeringFull-timeRemote (US)
MMCG Analytics
ArcGIS Developer, Python
MMCG Invest, LLC built and operates MMCG Analytics, a proprietary geospatial intelligence platform for institutional commercial real estate clients.
This role sits at the intersection of GIS engineering, data infrastructure, and product. The successful candidate will own the technical spine of the platform from day one.
The Role
The successful candidate will own the spatial data pipelines, the Esri integrations, the PostGIS backend, and the MapLibre front end that together convert the firm’s analytical methodology into a scalable software product.
The Mandate
- Architect and maintain spatial data pipelines that ingest large, heterogeneous datasets into a PostgreSQL / PostGIS warehouse engineered for analytical query performance.
- Build geoprocessing services in Python and ArcPy supporting the platform’s core analytical workflows.
- Integrate the Esri stack with proprietary internal data layers and a range of external APIs into a unified analytical surface.
- Design and ship interactive mapping experiences in MapLibre GL JS, including custom layer styling, vector tile pipelines, clustering, and analytical visualizations.
- Codify the firm’s analytical methodology into reusable modules accessible through both the platform UI and a versioned API.
- Partner directly with the firm’s senior analysts to translate institutional workflows into production tooling, with a bias toward automation, repeatability, and audit traceability.
What You Bring
- Three or more years building GIS applications or geospatial data infrastructure in production.
- Advanced Python, including geopandas, shapely, rasterio, and a modern web framework such as FastAPI or Flask.
- Demonstrated fluency with the Esri ecosystem: ArcPy, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and the ArcGIS REST API.
- Strong PostgreSQL and PostGIS, including spatial indexing, partitioning, and query optimization at scale.
- Front-end mapping experience with MapLibre GL JS or Mapbox GL JS.
- A track record of integrating heterogeneous third-party APIs into coherent, production-grade data products.
- Familiarity with commercial real estate or location intelligence datasets is welcomed but not required.
The Bar
This is not a GIS analyst seat or a map-production role. The platform is the product. Engineering judgment, system design, and ownership of the full spatial stack are expected from day one.
MMCG Analytics operates independently of the firm’s advisory practice.
Further detail on architecture, data sources, and product scope is shared with shortlisted candidates under NDA.
